Ravel created the creative campaign for NSW EPA’s “Let’s Get Our Scrap Together” initiative, using playful copy, approachable imagery and clear educational messaging to make food-waste information more noticeable, memorable and easier for NSW communities to act on.
The NSW Environment Protection Authority works with communities, businesses, industry, and government to protect and enhance the state’s environment. This campaign supported a pilot program encouraging residents to dispose of food scraps correctly using Food Organics and Garden Organics, or FOGO, bins.
Food-waste education can easily become another message people skim past. The campaign needed to capture attention while clearly educating residents about putting food scraps into their FOGO bins and the positive impact correct disposal could have on the environment and local community.
Ravel developed the campaign around the cheeky line “Let’s get our scrap together,” pairing playful language with bold, approachable creative and relatable household imagery. The campaign extended across short videos, print and promotional materials, and radio commercials, giving the message a consistent presence across multiple formats.
