The core of the Ravel team has worked together for two decades – we started on the Gold Coast as Fotomedia and specialised in creative, writing, producing, shooting, and directing.
We started collecting industry awards for our TV commercials, web videos, documentaries and cinema ads and soon we were shooting interstate, in the US, and throughout the Pacific, working with major brands and stretching our creative legs. Life was pretty good!

Then little by little, we started solving all sorts of branding and communication problems for our clients. We added some serious graphic design, animation and creative grunt to our team, and life got even better.

After years of being “video first”, we morphed into an “idea first” agency, and next thing you know, we started picking up awards for our creative work too, and clients from the private sector and government seemed to pick up what we were putting down.
In tandem with all of this, we opened an office in Brisbane, a capital city foothold that’s fast grown into a fixture. With this expansion into the River City, our strategic and multi-channel marketing management services began to expand further, to the point that they have become a staple of our service offering.

We now having two sets of big open doors in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for clients to walk through, look us in the eye, and get an instant feel for who we are and what we do.

After years as a full-service agency, we felt it was time for a new look and a new name – Ravel – to reflect what we’ve become.

Kurt Duane

Kurt is our resident creative Kiwi with a solid appreciation for a good burger or slow cooked meat. His happy place is with his impossibly cute puppy, Elsa, or losing track of time creating weird animations.
Ruth Dunn

Senior Copywriter & Strategist

Ruth is passionate about storytelling, with over 12 years of experience across a range of industries. She combines this background with creative thinking to craft engaging content for our clients.
Tayler Goddard

Creative in the office and in her spare time, Olivia loves branding and web design as well as tinkering with craft projects. She also gets behind video games and a good TV series or movie!
Kiana Heimann

Senior Digital Strategist

Coming from across the pond (team USA!), Kiana can often be found at the gym, on a run, or watching live music. When it comes to SEO and impactful ads for clients, she's on it like Vegemite on toast (although she still finds the spread "repulsive").
Whitney Innes Hill

Producer / Photographer

Whitney is always out chasing the light with a camera in hand and hiking boots on her feet. And she can't say no to a camping trip or board game night with friends. Photography is her tool for helping people—in any culture, in any country.

When she’s not trying to beat her Mount Cootha cycling record, Kristina leads the creative direction for our clients. With many years in design, her favourite memories include experiencing centre court at Roland Garros with Adidas and the red carpet with Sky.
Tegan Rookwood

Performance Marketing Specialist

Tegan specialises in paid advertising, blending creativity with data to help businesses grow. Outside the office, she unwinds with yoga and pilates, and enjoys reading, baking, and beach days.
Lauchlan Stanesby

Camera Operator / Editor

Film is work and play for Lauchlan. He loves crafting a great story for clients and revels in watching films and analysing them (often to the detriment of his friends and family). In his downtime, he also enjoys seeing live music and playing the bass.
Joel Tronoff

Director / DP

Joel has been filming for over a decade. The only thing he loves more than camera gear or a classic movie is his English Cocker Spaniel Teddy. He’ll also jump at the chance to camp in his van or play golf.
Elsa

Personality Hire

Meet Elsa, our in-house Walkies Expert and the Queen of begging for lunch scraps. Her day-to-day consists of laying around in a ridiculously cute manner and keeping an eye out for potential belly rubs.
Henry

Personality Hire

Meet Henry, our in-house Head of Morale and self-appointed Pat Collector. He splits his time between doing the rounds for scratches, sweet-talking people into fetch, napping in questionable spots, and watching the world go by from his window post — when he's not busy trying to win Elsa's affections.
