The Client

The Department of Transport and Main Roads plans, manages, and delivers Queensland’s integrated transport network. Ravel has built a long-standing relationship with the department, primarily providing graphic design for project collateral, alongside selected video, photography, and drone work.

The Challenge

Roadworks rarely come with a short explanation. Each project can involve maps, timelines, construction impacts, changed traffic conditions, safety details, contact information, and accessibility requirements. Across a steady stream of projects, TMR needed a design partner capable of organising all those moving parts into communication that remained accurate, consistent, and easy for the public to follow across different formats.

Ravel's Solution

Ravel works as a long-term creative partner, turning detailed transport and infrastructure information into clear, polished collateral. The work spans reports, brochures, flyers, newsletters, maps, signage, presentations, and digital assets, with each piece adapted to its project, format, and audience. Careful hierarchy, considered layouts, and consistent brand application help make technical information easier to scan, understand, and act on, whether it is being shared with local communities, road users, project stakeholders, or government teams.
